How to connect a replacement to your AirPods
Very simple! Just follow these steps.
On iPhone

Put both earbuds in the case and close the lid for about 30 seconds.

Reopen the case and hold down the pairing button. For AirPods 4 and Pro 3, double-tap the front of the case instead.

With an iPhone switched on nearby, they should be detected: tap Connect on the AirPods and follow the on-screen instructions.
On Android
If you have an Android phone, just repeat the same procedure with the earbuds, then open Settings → Bluetooth: you should see the AirPods' name. Tap it and then press Connect.
The LED light and connection problems
In pairing mode, the case LED turns white. If it turns orange, there's a problem with the earbuds or the case.
Often just one of the two earbuds has a problem and prevents the connection. You can check this by inserting one at a time into the case and trying to connect it.
